FREE AGENTS: SOFA invites individuals looking to play some adult coed soccer for the outdoor season 2008, to play on one of our "Free Agent" teams. The way a "Free Agent" team works is as follows; you must sign up and pay the registration fee, you will then be placed on one of the teams. Teams are compromised of individuals (max.16) who for one reason or another did not have a team to play for. Once registered, all you need to do is show up to your scheduled games. Please refer to the above information as to where and how you can register.

"REDWOOD TOURNEY" A spectacular weekend of soccer was held at the Redwood Park soccer fields. All of Saturday and Sunday there was only sunshine to deal with. There was steady soccer action from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Saturday. Saturday evening saw a large portion of participants par take in a BBQ put on by SOFA and held at Phil and Mary's home (SOFA members), kudos to them for being fantastic hosts. On Sunday we were entertained by some great semi-final and final matches. In the end, we saw Incredibles prevail by a 2-0 score over Excel Flight in the A-side final and Blue Rare taking the B-side final over Raiders by a score of 3-1. SOFA would like to thank the referees for "putting" in the time and for the participants making it a fun filled action packed weekend. For all the stats and team pictures, click on the title.
